Finally, a stolen phone database!

Finally, a stolen phone database!

First Let's start with some technical details. Every GSM phone in the world have an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identification) number. This number is unique to every simple device, like a MAC address for a network equipment. You can find your mobile handset’s IMEI number by typing *#06# on your mobile and in case your phone is already stolen, and you still have the box, you'll be able to find this number on a sticker on the box. Now how does it work, every time you turn on your phone, like every in network a hand shake is made between your device and the network you are trying t... » Read More

AT&T just decided that unlimited is 3… or 5

It is done, Mathematics were wrong for thousand of years: there is an end to the infinite and AT&T just decided it would be 3 or 5! on this blog this is not the first time we are sharing with you how AT&T redefined the word "unlimited" and how some of the grandfathered users would still have their unlimited plans saw their mobile connection so restricted that it became useless. But here it is, AT&T decided to redefine the limits of their unlimited data plan and where it was so far of approximately 2Gb, it is now 3Gb for non-LTE devices and 5Gb for LTE smartphones (or tablet)... » Read More

Review: HTC Jetstream

If you read my reviews, you know that I love the small HTC Flyer, easy to carry, great stylus, good battery life and amazing quality and excellent ration functions/price. Unfortunately even if HTC had everything in hand to propose a great product with the Jetstream/Puccini, they missed the point! A judge proves AT&T’s wrong

Good news for AT&T's customers who still have the "unlimited" data plan, a judge awards iPhone user $850 in throttling case. As we previously discussed on this site, decided to redefine the word unlimited by throttling the data speed of those grandfathered unlimited data plan that use too much data according to them. A judge seemed to disagree with that unilateral point of view and rewarded an AT&T customer with $850.  Judge Russell stated that it wasn't fair for the company to purposely slow down his iPhone, when it had sold him an "unlimited data" plan. Now it seems that AT&am... » Read More

AT&T once again, you stink!

AT&T once again, you stink!

Here we are AGAIN, AT&T redefined the term "unlimited"! Now, even if you had the chance to be one of the grandfathered customers still under "unlimited" data plan, AT&T found a way to limit you if you are among the 5% customers that use more than 2Gb of data per month. I come from France and when I came is the US, even though I found the price of mobile phone plan out of reach (come on $100 for a plan?! Really?!), I thought that having unlimited data was a amazing plus. I had a smartphone and I was able to finally use it to its full potential! That was 4 years ago. Since, we've s... » Read More
