If you read my reviews, you know that I love the small HTC Flyer, easy to carry, great stylus, good battery life and amazing quality and excellent ration functions/price. Unfortunately even if HTC had everything in hand to propose a great product with the Jetstream/Puccini, they missed the point!
Let's start with what I love about this tablet, first off, HTC did a great job hidding HoneyComb (3.1), and Sense is a super addition making this tablet the first Android dumb-proof tablet on the market (with the Flyer). I mean it and I know a lot of people out there don't like Sense because they b... » Read More
More and more tablets propose more for less, more battery life, more functions, lighter, more power but I am still to wonder what makes a good tablet and for that my answer is clear: a balanced compromise between functionalists, user experience and price.
For this reason I decided to give you my personal selection of the best 7" tablets currently on the market and to share with you the pros and cons for each of the selected devices. Let's also be clear, the selection is so big that there is no way to go thru all devices available out there

Good news for AT&T's customers who still have the "unlimited" data plan, a judge awards iPhone user $850 in throttling case. As we previously discussed on this site, decided to redefine the word unlimited by throttling the data speed of those grandfathered unlimited data plan that use too much data according to them.
A judge seemed to disagree with that unilateral point of view and rewarded an AT&T customer with $850. Judge Russell stated that it wasn't fair for the company to purposely slow down his iPhone, when it had sold him an "unlimited data" plan.
Now it seems that AT&am... » Read More

For a very long time I have been looking for the perfect tablet for me,I tried the Apple iPad, the Acer Iconia A500, the Samsung Galaxy Tab (original) and the 10.1", the HTC Jetstream/Puccini (my biggest deception) and finally the HTC Flyer. I also has a chance to play with a Fujitsu Windows 7 tablet (a nightmare...). I tried all I could in terms of size, operating system, brands and I have to admit, even if I am so far satisfied with the Flyer, it is far from fulfill all my expectations. So HTC, Samsung, Acer or any other manufacturer up for the challenge here is what I dream about!

Here we are AGAIN, AT&T redefined the term "unlimited"! Now, even if you had the chance to be one of the grandfathered customers still under "unlimited" data plan, AT&T found a way to limit you if you are among the 5% customers that use more than 2Gb of data per month.
I come from France and when I came is the US, even though I found the price of mobile phone plan out of reach (come on $100 for a plan?! Really?!), I thought that having unlimited data was a amazing plus. I had a smartphone and I was able to finally use it to its full potential! That was 4 years ago.
Since, we've s... » Read More
For several years now, all my devices have been HTC phone, the Touch, Touch Pro, HD, Touch Pro 2, Desire Z but as much as I enjoyed the brand for providing an amazing hardware I also enjoyed it because it was releasing regular updates and the community was very active as it was the only brand to "allow" this level of customization.
After a year and half having the Desire Z, I wanted to update my phone to something more current but HTC did (and still don't) propose any Android slide-out device, so I decided to jump to the competition, not without fear (I had a very bad experience with Motorola... » Read More

One thing I don't like about most reviews on the internet is the fact that they are done without real experience on the device, a few minutes or hours with it and a judgement is done. I understand the concept, giving as quickly as possible an idea and comment on a device even if this idea is wrong. It generate traffic and page views but unfortunately does not really help the person who is going to purchase and use the device.
Once this said, let's talk about the Samsung Captivate Glide and let me tell you, I have been waiting a very long time for a replacement of my HTC Desire Z with a dual... » Read More
HTC did not offer so many tablets during the past year (only 2), but I have to tell you straight, this one, as funny as it may seem to some is a must and let me explain you why.
First let put it in the context, I live in a big city and I use my tablet everywhere I go, office, public transportation, home...
The first tablet I owned was the Acer A500, a great tablet, cheap, a lot of custom ROMs out there to make it faster and bloatware free but the main issue was its size!!! Yes 10 inches is great when you are in your sofa browsing the web but now try the same standing in a bus... good luc... » Read More
